In order to be featured in this directory, you must first become a participant in the Build Black and/or Build Native programs. Once your application has been received and approved, you will receive an invitation to join the directory. 

The Shopify Equitable Commerce team's Build Native and Build Black Programs offer merchants the following benefits:  

• Providing 1:1 business coaching and subject matter expertise to support entrepreneurial journeys
• Lowering financial barriers to launching your own store for newer entrepreneurs 
• Encouraging business plan development for entrepreneurs through various education series
• Ease and flexibility of creating your own storefront (can be up and running in as little as a few hours)
• Providing access to network with other Black and Indigenous entrepreneurs 
• Providing access to exclusive Build Black and Build Native content (i.e. via Shopify Academy) and programs (i.e. exclusive 1st day to 1st sale courses)
